Victor, jeune magicien en pleine ascension, élève seul sa fille Lison. Enfin seul, pas tout à fait, car Jacques, son fantasque beau-père, s’immisce dans sa vie et celle de sa petite-fille, auprès de laquelle il retrouve une nouvelle jeunesse. Un tandem improbable qui aura pour arbitre Nina, l’amie d’enfance de Victor.
