Women and abstractions
Thursday 17 June 2021 - 18:30WOMEN AND ABSTRACTIONS
Speaker: Isabelle de Maison Rouge, art historian
The majority of exhibitions that deal with abstract art underestimate the fundamental role played by women in the development of this movement. A reassessment of the importance of the contribution of women while questioning old historical patterns highlights the turning points and the contribution of the fairer sex.
